Jumbo Time Wines The Chalet Pinot Gris 2024
Jumbo Time Wines is a Los Angeles based natural wine project, started by Omar Koukaz & Jonathan Yadegar in 2020. They work organically grown (dry farmed & biodynamic when possible) fruit & practice zero intervention in the cellar. Jumbo Time is proud to work along side farmers to make wines that are the result of curiosity and excitement surrounding what the glorious state of California has to offer.
The Chalet is a fancy white, California wine. Its big bodied, but not buttery or overpowering, Slightly creamy & tasting of juicy bosc pear with notes of fresh cantaloupe on the nose, and crisp green grapes. Its bright on the palate, a little weighted, and tastes pretty elegant, if we do say so ourselves
