Description
This new limited edition Plantation Rum Black Cask is the encounter of two emblematic rum regions, Barbados and Venezuela. This blend is composed of rums distilled in pot still and column, for an elegant and balanced profile. After a first aging in ex-bourbon barrels in their country of origin, under a tropical climate, these two rums crossed the Atlantic to the southwest of France for a second maturation in French oak barrels, slightly toasted.
Nose – Very intense and fresh, it starts on honey, apple blossom, cooked banana, lime and vanilla, followed by coconut, coffee and almond.
Palate – It has a pastry taste and a nice freshness, starting with caramel, plums and pear followed by custard and nutmeg.
Finish – Long and sweet on banana, lemon peel, cooked apple, Tonka bean, caramel and cinnamon.
