Parker’s Heritage 12th Edition 110 Proof (55% ABV) is a highly allocated, Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey produced as a limited release by the Heaven Hill Distillery. This 2018 expression utilizes the distillery’s traditional bourbon mash bill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye, representing a unique experimental finish within the collection.
Originally aged for seven to eight years in the upper floors of Rickhouse Q, the liquid was then secondary-matured for four months in French oak barrels that previously held Orange Curaao liqueur. This evolutionary process yields a rich and complex profile of orange zest, dark chocolate, and burnt sugar, balanced by a deep undercurrent of toasted oak and vanilla with a long, citrus-tinged finish.
