About this spirit:
– By Master Distiller, Don Gerardo Pena el lobo
– 9 years old Lechuguilla (A. Maximiliana)
– From Sierra Occidental de Jalisco
– Double distilled in stainless steel still.
Nose – Strong, pungent. Ripe red strawberries, lavender, lemon grass and pineapple and a slight metal finish from steel fermentation.
Palate – Sweet aloe vera, currant, grape and apples with a touch of candy. The heat you would expect from +60% alcohol is not present.
