The Maestro Dobel 50 Anniversary Series was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our founder, Juan Dobel, by presenting a tequila that enhances what it means to be a Maestro Tequilero with the greatest virtue: that of sharing. Each year, Dobel will produce a limited edition to honor 50th celebrations including birthdays, anniversaries and milestones. Dobel 50 1971 an exceptional edition that integrates our finest tequilas aged in French and Eastern European oak barrels and finished in Shochu barrels from Japan. This Extra Aejo tequila is a silky smooth liquid, crafted from 100% blue agave sourced from a family-owned, single estate in the volcanic lowlands of Tequila, Mexico. The artisanal process includes slow-cooking, slow double-distillation and a unique refinement process. Sweet and smooth, with aromas of wood, nuts, and toasted cereal hints which are combined and balanced with hints of honey, vanilla, ripe fruit, chocolate and caramel.
