From London’s Bimber Distillery, this English single malt is part of the Shoulders of Giants series which pays homage to significant people and their contributions. This particular release celebrates Charles Darwin. It was aged exclusively in a single American oak bourbon cask which was filled into 259 bottles without chill filtration or artificial colourings at a strength of 58.3% ABV.

Bimber Distillery, located in London, specialises in traditional methods and high-quality spirits. It opened in 2015 and is known for its artisanal spirits, especially whisky. Dariusz Plazewski, a Polish man with a moonshining family background, founded Bimber Distillery. “Bimber” means ‘moonshine’ in Polish. Plazewski wanted to mix Polish distilling traditions with London’s craft drink scene. Besides whisky, Bimber Distillery makes gin, vodka, and fruit brandies. The Bimber Gin has selected botanicals, making it fresh and vibrant. Their fruit brandies use real fruit. This shows their dedication to natural ingredients and authentic flavours. The distillery’s products have won many awards. They are popular with both experts and casual drinkers. People like the detail and rich flavours.
