Distillery Information

Glen Garioch is situated in Oldmeldrum in the rich arable lands of Aberdeenshire, so is classed as a Highland distillery. Records date Glen Garioch back to 1797, although there are unsubstantiated claims that the distillery is older still, which may make it the oldest working distillery in Scotland. Their core range is small, consisting of a non age Founders Reserve and 12 Year Old. However, this is regularly bolstered with small-batch releases such as the Virgin Oak and Rennaissance series alongside a number of independent bottlers showcasing Glen Garioch’s signature thick, oily texture and honeyed heather flavour profile.
