This is an exceptional rum from the Hampden distillery in Jamaica. It has been made as a hommage to Old Brother Anthoni Martins. This full pot still distilled rum is composed out of the following components: un-aged H, HJF 2008 and DOK 2009.
Famille Ricci Hommage 2022 Anthony Martins | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: On the nose, it is bewitching. A power and a sweetness emerge both on notes of exotic fruit compote, pastry notes raised with spices and a Mocha side.
Palate: In the mouth, its fireworks! The tropical and red fruits explode with a beautiful greediness, contrasted by notes of bitter almond, liquorice and a slight woodiness that structures and balances the beast.
Finish: The finish is very long with more roasted notes and more candied fruits.
