Description
Florence and Ren-Henri both come from wine-making families in the Minervois. What makes them stand out is the way they don’t only produce the wonderful intense red wines the region is best known for, but also succeed in producing modern more technical wines. The Viognier is a triumph – made to be fresh and elegant even in this warm part of France. The ros is superb. The Minervois Les Eolides and La Liviniere are great exemples of Minervois at ils best. The Petit Verdot takes these traditional skills and applies them with a twist to grape better known in Bordeaux.
Vinification
The wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting Notes
Intense dark fruit aromas with hints of coffee and chocolate on the nose. Full and smooth in the mouth with hints of blackcurrant.
Great for anything from summer BBQ to wintery stews.
