Producer Information
Chteau Pesqui is a Rhne Valley estate situated in the three villages of Mormoiron, Blauvac and Ville-sur-Auzon in Ventoux. The two predominant grape varieties cultivated at the estate are Grenache and Syrah, with smaller plantings of the likes of Cinsaut, Carignan, Mourvdre, Roussanne, Viognier, Clairette and Chardonnay. The Chaudire family acquired Chteau Pesqui in the 1970s when the Ventoux wine appellation was still in its infancy. The family developed and replanted the estate’s original vineyards and in 1989 established their own wine cellar, producing their first vintage a year later. The management of Chteau Pesqui is now the responsibility of Alexandre and Frdric Chaudire. who in 2003 have implemented organic viticultural methods at the estate. From 2015 they have farmed biodynamically.
