Mannochmore 12 Year Old Palo Cortado Cask Finish Darkness Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 500ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Crisp, bright notes of candied lemon, fresh orange, marmalade, vanilla, and citrus buttercream.

Palate: Dark, tangy, sweet notes of dried blood-orange wheels and burnt brown sugar, with peppery warmth and some delicate herbs developing in time.

Finish: Zesty citrus lingers with orange peel and lemon drizzle, balanced by herbaceous, savoury spice.

Distillery Information

Scottish Malt Distillers founded Mannochmore distillery in 1971. The site was managed by John Haig & Company Limited until 1985, at which point it was mothballed due to the big British recession. During this first time of production, Mannochmore was a major contributor to the Haig’s Blends.
