The “Lagg” story, outside of the distillery context, refers to a small village located on the southern tip of the Isle of Arran in Scotland, historically known for its illicit whisky production, where locals would make their own spirits in hidden stills and smuggle them to the mainland, often referred to as “Arran Waters”
