Description
The winemaker chose only the best Primitivo (Zinfandel) grapes from old vines in Apulia, the heel of Italy. Ageingin large oak barrels added vanilla notes to the cherry and fresh plum fruit aromas. A great food wine that is round and full with gentle tannins and a jammy finish. Pairs well with pasta bolognese, pizza, braised and grilled meat, game, medium strength cheese and, surprisingly, chocolate cake!
