TASTING NOTE:
Joven:Very lively in the nose, wild berries and hint at a background of vanilla from the barrel. The palate is expressive with good acidity and a pleasant finish.
Crianza:This wine displays a deep red cherry colour with a violet edge. Intense in the nose with red fruits aromas and spicy and liquorice notes. A very delicate mouth, fleshy and elegant at the same time with a long, lingering finish.
Reserva:Powerful aromas on the nose and thin toasted mingle with spicy notes from the wood. Velvety and intense on the palate, with a long, elegant finish.
PRODUCER: When Bodegas y Viedos Tamaralwas founded in April 1997, it was a dream come true for the De Santiago family, who for four generations have tended vineyards and made wine. Soon afterwards, a winery was opened in the Pago de Tablares under the watchful eye of the Museo de Vino and in the very heart of the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin.
WINEMAKING:From vineyards situated at an altitude of over 9000 meters in Pesquera del Duero. Yields are less than 4,500kg per hectare.14 months in oak (60% American, 40% French). Potential cellaring for 6 to 10 years.
