On July 26th, 1971, Apollo 15 launched from the Kennedy Space Center. Astronauts David Scott and James Irwin travelled to the Spur crater designated Geology Station 7 using the lunar rover vehicle. On the rim of the crater the Astronauts collected the Genesis Rock sample amongst 77kg of lunar samples returned to Earth. “Get That Unusual One”.
