Tsunuki Single Malt 2025 Edition is the 6th annual distillery who is now in their 8th year of production. Nestled in a valley of Kagoshima and flanked by mountains – this distillery experiences incredible humidity to match its warm summer months. Due to its insolation in a valley – Tsunuki has relatively cool winters for the area allowing for more expansion and contraction in its stored barrels. As a result, their whisky’s style is bigger and richer than their sister distillery Komagatake to the north in Nagano. The Tsunuki 2025 Single Malt continues along this path with delicate, roasty aromas of coffee beans, dried fruit, and chocolate covered almonds. The whisky is an elegantly layered marriage of fresh orange peels, rich dark chocolate, and smoky black tea.
