Description
Late frost in 2016 spelled disaster for quantities, but not quality. Francois de Nicolay decided to blend all of their 1er Cru vineyards around the hill of Corton to make 7 barrels of this one-off stunner that drinks well above its generic Bourgogne Rouge title. Raspberries, plums, grilled meat, dark chocolate and spices. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied and velvety with considerable substance and concentration.
