One of Yarra Valleys rising stars, Soumahs Hexham vineyard is planted with four different clones of Pinot Noir which produce a classic, cool climate style wine showing elegance and savoury spice.
Semi translucent dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Fragrant aromas of ripe red cherries, violets and strawberries intermingle with hints of rhubarb, forest floor, fresh herbs and light spicy cedar. Deliciously red fruited, supple and powerful, ripe cherry and strawberry flavours overlay a back drop of subtle anise, rhubarb, forest floor, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar. Beautiful glossy texture with silky smooth tannins and ample freshness. Concludes long, expansive and savoury.
