The Juyondai label, produced by Takagi Shuzo brewery, has earned itself a cult status amongst sak aficionados. Takagi Shuzo was originally founded in 1615 in the northern Japanese Yamagata Prefecture. The Juyondai brand was born through more recent experimentation producing dramatic and bold saks.
This labels legendary reputation is well deserved and reflected in Takagi Shuzos focus on brewing premium, pure rice sak, featuring the Yamada Nishiki rice which is milled to impressively small sizes.
