Description
The Ardnahoe Bholsa is the second core range bottling from Ardnahoe, Islay’s youngest distillery.
It was added to the lineup in March 2025 and uses mostly ex-Oloroso sherry casks for maturation.
This expression is bottled with no artificial colouring and no chill-filtration.
Producer’s Tasting Notes
Nose: Red fruits, walnuts, orange zest and peat smoke.
Palate: Raisins, dates and ripe plums.
Finish: Islay peat leading into a long, peppery finish.
