Sweeter and more rounded than a tepeztate’s typical sharp, more defined flavors, this one carries Jos’s signature lactic and creamy taste throughout.

About the Product: 100% maguey tepeztate (agave marmorata). Harvested wild in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Agave is roasted in an earthen oven and then crushed by horse-pulled tahona. Natural yeast fermentation in wooden pine vats. Twice distilled in copper pots. Rested 1-Year before bottling.
