Description
Villa Lobos tequila is produced from hand-picked agave grown in the Camarena family-owned plantations. The agave is then cooked, fermented & distilled in the old-fashioned way, at La Altea distillery near Arandas in Los Altos (the Tequila highlands).
The Blanco expression rests in stainless steel tanks for 6 months.
Producers Tasting Notes
Nose: Soft citrus notes and spicy white pepper.
Palate: Caramelised pineapple, pine nuts, pepper, distinctive agave flavour.
Finish: Exquisitely smooth due to tank resting, balanced warmth, but not overly fierce for a young Tequila.
