Tasting Notes: Fresh almond croissant, light orange zest, and soft leather on the nose with a very unique, perfumed, earthiness.
For 93 proof this has fantastic viscosity. The palate truthfully isnt like anything Ive had before, hitting on a funky profile that crosses dusty whiskey with a wheat whiskey or other malted whiskey profile. Little to no fruit presence here.
Sandalwood, leather, malted caramel sweetness, relaxed spices, but the highlight is in the perfumed lingering, lasting silky and long and reminiscent of old National Distillers.
Ron Burgundy would love this one.
