At Wild Life Distillery (WLD), the approach to producing great craft spirits is set on a foundation of quality and authenticity.
The WLD team uses their distillery as the medium to connect their values to everything they do. The clean mountain water, the local grain, the small batch sizes, the attention to detail, and the community of like-minded individuals that surround them are all part of the WLD process.
The Sherry Cask Single Malt is made from start to finish in Canmore, Alberta. Using 100% Alberta Malted Barley, the mash is distilled in a 500L Alembic Copper Pot Still before being aged for a minimum of 4 years in 53-gallon Ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in Pedro Ximnez Sherry Casks. This delicious Canadian whisky is then bottled at its natural colour without chill filtration.
Nose: Chewy dried figs and chocolate-covered raisins.
Palate: Rounded malty notes and fruit leather.
Finish: Soft French oak.
