Description
Numanthia Termanthia Toro 2015 is a commanding expression from the Toro DO in Castilla y Len, Spain, crafted from 100% Tinta de Toro vines over 120 years old. Farmed organically and harvested by hand, this vintage was shaped by a cool, rain-kissed growing season that delivered perfectly ripened fruit. Aged 20 months in predominantly new French oak, it carries a bold 15% ABV with remarkable balance and ageing potential beyond two decades.
Deep ruby in the glass, it opens with eucalyptus, blueberries, pink pepper and rose water, layered with cinnamon and wild herbs. The palate is refined yet powerful, unfolding black berries, lavender and flint with a long, graceful finish. Decant and serve at 15C alongside roast lamb or dark chocolate desserts for a truly elevated experience.
