The fourth editionof The Boss Hog series from Whistlepig, The Black Prince, isthe first Rye Whiskey to ever be finished in Armagnac casks. This is a 14 year, 117.5proof rye and a collector’s bottle. Continuing the tradition of past Boss Hog releases, this is bold and intense but aged longer than the previous 12 year releases we have seen so far.
They must be doing something right on Whistlepig farm, because this bottle beat out all other whiskeys in the world to be judged Best Whiskey at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
