Crafted in the highlands of Nozawa Onsen Village by the visionary Head Distiller Isamu Yoneda, Iwai Gin (meaning “celebration” in Japanese) captures the fleeting beauty of spring through a delicate blend of seasonal botanicals. Using a rice-based distillate and pure mountain spring water filtered for decades through the alpine soils of Mt. Kenashi, this small-batch gin is infused with sakura leaf, sumomo (Japanese plum), Kumamoto lemon, and applewood, evoking the joyful rebirth of nature after a long winter. Distilled in traditional copper pot stills, Iwai Gin reflects not only the terroir of the Japanese Alps but also the enduring spirit of Nozawas traditions and festivals.
