Aged in a perfect marriage of 1st fill European and American ex-sherry oak casks, the Macallan Terra Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a moment – a pause in time to be sipped, swallowed, and slowly savored. Released as a travel retail exclusive in 2017 as part of Macallan’s Quest Collection, this premium single malt is finished to 43.8% ABV and offered in limited quantities. The nose opens with a complex cascade of apples, ginger, and woody foliage over hints of sherry and rich chocolate. These complement a palate of plump raisins, oak, apricots, juicy strawberries, and old-fashioned toffee candies.
