Tipperary is a relative newcomer on the Irish Single Malt scene, and they have been regularly stealing the show with their Limited Edition Mountain Range, each named for a mountain in Ireland. Knockmealdown is a mountain range that stands between Country Tipperary and Waterford, one of the most scenic areas of Ireland. The spirit is a small batch of 6 ex-bourbon barrels aged to 10 years. It is a light and fragrant whiskey, with notes of orange oil and tropical fruits on the nose. The finish is dry, but lingers with barrel spices and a hint of cinnamon.
