It utilizes the proprietary Buffalo Trace Wheated Mash Bill, replacing rye with wheat to achieve a bold yet rounded texture. Matured in charred oak, this spirit is bottled at a higher proof to maintain the intensity of the barrel oils. The profile is characterized by a dense delivery of bold cinnamon, dark caramel, and baked apple that transitions into a long finish of complex oak and floral honey.
