Shinobu 15yo Pure Malt Bottling Note
Another top blended malt from Shinobu, this 15 year old expression is wonderfully honeyed, spicy and mouth-filling. Its flavour profile is thanks to an initial maturation in bourbon and sherry casks, followed by a finishing period in Japanese Mizunara oak.

Nose:Honeyed malt and blueberry muffin, with hints of tobacco and fresh espresso.
Palate:Crisp notes of lemon and apple lead into baking spice warmth, with oily malt in support.
Finish:Candied ginger and wood spice alongside orchard fruit.
