“The Sandpiper Merlot is sourced from several Thorn-Clarke-owned vineyards, with fruit from the cooler high altitude Eden Valley making a significant contribution. This wine is produced in a ‘fruit forward’ style with 12 months in primarily French oak; it is ready to be enjoyed now and will comfortably cellar for up to 5 years. A mouth-filling and generous Merlot, this wine retains varietal character whilst displaying rich Barossa fruit character.”
