The Les Ctes comes from 50-year-old Pinot Noir vines, grown on a bedrock of granite. The unusual soils in this area cause stronger tannins and a firmer grain in the mouth; these wines are strong, intense and have a marked stony character. Theres real personality here, alongside juicy fruit, spice and crunch. This would be best paired with mushroom and lentil-focused dishes.
