Description
40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier hand harvested from 40-50 year organic 1er cru vineyards in northern Montagne de Reims, pressed whole cluster, then fermented with native yeast in a combination of large old barrels and steel tanks, then aged in large old barrels for 10 months before going to bottle unfined and unfiltered where it stays on the lees for 5 years and gets a low dosage at disgorgement and very low sulfur added. Rich, ripe and powerful with chiseled minerality and precise fine bubbles. Serious business.
