Description

This comes from 0.73ha of vines planted in 1951/52 in the best part of the vineyard. Its shallow soil and small stones aid both heat retention and drainage, which restricts yield and encourages ripeness that concentrates the flavours in the final product. The result is a wine with a stunning apple and pear nose, a suave texture and a lifted finish.
