Chardonnay from single plot vineyard Hautes Mottes in grand cru village Le Mesnil sur Oger. The wine in completely vinified in large oak barrels on full lees and bottle aged minimum for 6 years before disgorging. The nose reminds me of lemon custard biscuits. The palate is creamy and silky but has the very characteristic of Le Mesnil sur Ogers bright acidity and chalky minerality.
