Description
Medium deep colour, offering rather less on the nose than its stablemates. The oak is evident a bit on the palate but there is also a marvellous swelling of bright red fruit, then a briary note. Few tannins, easy of access and persistent, not quite the grip of some years. Slight youthful bitterness. Not easy to taste today though the raw material is there. Tasted Oct 2017.
