From a cooler site with a harvest up to a month later than nearby vineyards. Les Mazaux means crazy people, which you would have to be to make wine here! This extra hang time on the vine creates a stunning Champagne, the bouquet is creamy and rich from seven years on the lees, great depth of of savoury, citrus fruit, fabulous mouthfeel and long and dry on the fine finsih. Very impressive.
