EXPLORATORY CASK SERIES RELEASE #21-003

Inspired by French brandy distillers, this 5-year bourbon is finished in a selection of cognac puncheons delivering balance and richness to our bourbon. Docs Blender hand-selected the whiskeys from each puncheon and skillfully blended them for this limited release and aptly named it LESPRIT French for the spirit. LESPRIT is one of three limited bourbons that complete the Mind, Body, and Spirit line, named for their contributions to the Doc Swinsons Alter Ego Triple Cask Bourbon.

This limited single finish expression allows you the chance to experience one of the individual pieces of the whole, all outstanding on their own at cask strength.

75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley

60% corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley

FINISH & MATURATION: American White Oak 200L minimum 5 years, Ex-Cognac Limousine Oak 225-600L. 11 months, 13 days

SENSORY NOTES:

NOSE – Orange marmalade, Soda bread, citrus and marzipan

PALATE – Golden raisins, wildflower honey, dark chocolate, dried tobacco, crme brle and candied orange peels

FINISH – Exceptional balance of sweet and citrus notes, a smooth sipping bourbon with a toasted oak finish
