At the local Semuliki Forest in Kasese, Uganda’s tropical Rwrenzururu subregion, Latitude Trade Company, Ltd. is a fun-loving social enterprise that works with over 4500 smallholder farmers to source wet cacao beans. They use eucalyptus boxes to ferment each farmer’s harvest and then mix all the beans together to create this deliciously consistent dark chocolate with hints of cacao-fruit nectar, banana, and cream cheese.
