The official whiskey ofthe legendary Celticpunk band The Pogues, producedby West Cork Distillers. This blend has a 50:50 malttograinratio. The malt is a combination of 10yomaturedin ex-sherry oak casks and7yomaturedin ex-bourbon oak casks, with the grain a4yo maturedin ex-bourbon oak casks.Developed by Barry Walsh and Frank McHardy (from Springbank fame). Nose: Malt, roasted almonds, spice, and dark chocolate.
Palate: Citrus, spice, cracked pepper, dark fruit, and a hint of sweetness.
Finish: A delicately balanced finish, rounded and long-lasting.
