Really vertical and vibrant nose with plenty of blueberry and toasty notes. Quite pointy. Fruity and juicy palate with plenty of blue notes. Each time you go back to the nose you get such a glorious spread of vibrant red fruits, red cherries and salt. I let it open over a number of days to explore all its facets. It just grew and grew gaining a wonderful level of juicy fruit but remained saline and strict on the mid palate the whole time. Giving it a serious edge alongside a growing saline texture. This will age beautifully over the nextdecade

We visited Georges before he had even released a Champagne! Having seen a bottle of Bouzy Rouge, (red wine from the village of Bouzy), we foundour way to his house and were introduced to a fabulous selection of cuves. He works mainly with Pinot Noir in Bouzy, Tauxires and creates a stunning ros!
