Description
Hager is redefining the idea of what gruner is meant to be. For this sparkling wine, Hager uses some of his older Grner Veltliner vines (35-50yo), the grapes were immediately pressed and spontaneously fermented in stainless steel and in wooden barrels. The fermenting juice was was bottled during final fermentation, resulting in a mineral PET NAT (naturally tingly) with beautiful, tiny bubbles, a riper pear tone permeating throughout and a tangy almost cidery quality.
