An exclusive single caskrelease from the Helden Distillery and a first of its kind. This small batch, single malt spirit (not yet whisky) was matured in a first-fill 100-litre hybrid cask; the side staves are from a STR (Shaved, Toasted and Recharred) French oak cask that held South African red wine, and the heads are made from American oak. This is the typical base cask being used by Helden for their single malt maturation. Aged for 5 months. Only 165 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a cask strength of 64.7%. (Bottle size 500ml)
