Join us we explore one of, if not the most important winery in Friuli: Ronchi di Cialla.

Instructed by Alexis Raia from Polaner we will taste through a wide range of wines made from Friulian grapes, and all from the remarkable winery Ronchi di Cialla. Grapes like Refosco dal Penducolo, Picolit, Ribolla Gialla, and Schioppettino.

Back in the 1970s, after Schioppettino had already been declared extinct Dina and Paolo Rapuzzi of ROnchi di Cialla found it on their property. They fought the regulations, to have Schioppettino reinstated in the record books, so they could once again make wine from this marvelous grape that was all but extinct. Now we get to enjoy this wonderful wine that was nearly gone forever!
