Description
At just over 0.5 hectares, Caroline has the largest holding in this, arguably Chassagnes top Premier Cru. Its steeply sloping, with shallow topsoil and lots of stones. The nose is discreet, with a mineral reduction; the palate is a little more open. This is a wine for the long term. Theres power, intense minerality and a salivating finish.
