About This Wine
Fortuna Terrae, meaning luck of the land, comes from a distinct parcel within Catena Zapatas Adrianna Vineyard in Gualtallary, planted on deep, loamy alluvial soils at high altitude.
The freshness derived from these soils and elevation delivers wines of optimal acidity and delicate floral aromatics, with a profile that balances purity, structure and elegance.
About the Producer
Founded in 1902 by Nicola Catena, Catena Zapata is Argentinas oldest winery still owned by its founding family and a global reference point for high-altitude Malbec from Mendoza.
Today, the estate is led by fourth-generation vintner Dr. Laura Catena, whose work through the Catena Institute of Wine has been instrumental in advancing research into Argentine terroirs, old vines and ungrafted Malbec.
