Distillery Information
Mullineux Wines is a notable South African wine producer located in the Swartland, best known for its extensive portfolio of terroir-expressive Syrah and Chenin Blanc wines from the region’s granite, schist, and iron-based soils. Founders and winemakers Chris and Andrea Mullineux have taken a natural approach to winemaking since the winery’s establishment in 2007. In addition to the vineyards on their property (Roundstone Farm, see photo) they work with growers who approach farming with sustainable and natural methods. In addition to Syrah and Chenin Blanc Mullineux’s vineyards are planted to Grenache Blanc, Clairette, and Viognier.
