Traditionally made, in small batches, 6 O’clock’s Damson Gin uses hand-picked British damsons and a moderate amount of sugar.
The damsons are left to steep in 6 O’Clock’s London Dry Gin. The fruits give up their colour and flavour, and combine deliciously with the smoothness of the gin, giving an intensely fruity dryness.
On the nose you are greeted by aromas of damsons, and sweet marzipan notes erupt from the glass. In terms of the taste, deliciously fruity plum and date flavours are quickly followed by a flash of citrus and a delicate spiciness. Subtle tannins join on the finish to refresh and balance out the sweetness.
