Description
The oldest US release from Eigashima Shuzos White Oak Distillery, this lightly peated single malt was aged entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, resulting in a heavily spiced yet refined whisky.
Pecans, stewed strawberries, allspice, and charred oak on the nose precede a spicy palate of clove, toasted black pepper, and vanilla bean; honey-drizzled peaches and grilled figs with a touch of sea salt on the finish.
